Par Can Bulbs
Even though there are alternative technologies for stage lighting out there to be had, halogen PAR can bulbs are still chosen for their unmatched brightness and light throw. PAR64 lamps are among the most widely used PAR lights and 1000w versions of these lights are among the most popular in theaters, auditoriums, and other stage across the globe. These lamps are the number one choice among lighting designers for their throw distances, punch, and color and light uniformity. For use with PAR cans, PAR bulbs with mogul end prongs are among the most popular due to their durability and easy replacement. The PAR64 is the largest diameter bulb of the PAR light family. The ‘64’ refers to the lamp’s 64/8 of an inch (8in) diameter, compared to the 38/8 of an inch (4.75in) diameter of a PAR38 light, for example. The predominant beam spreads for the 64s are very narrow spot (VNSP), narrow spot (NSP), medium flood (MFL), and wide flood (WFL). These different spreads achieve different effects and serve different purposes in stage and theater lighting. We have a huge selection of lamps so put your stage in a brand new light today!
